Frank Rao’s artistic talent is well-known and can be viewed worldwide.  His art and mural painting talent was handed down from his father who taught Frank at an early age. Franks talent in sculpting comes through his grandfather who sculptured statues from cement and marble in Italy.

With a career and reputation in art Frank has found a niche sculpting the likeness of real stone and brick on homes and building exteriors. Any style of masonry you can imagine can be imitated. This process has taken off on Florida’s west coast and examples of his work give evidence that there is no distinction from real stone or brick masonry. This Simulated Stone and Brick exteriors can be fabricated over cement block, stucco, and even wood (with a wire lath process and steps needed to create realism).

Frank has discovered his own formula of ingredients with a ratio that is important for appearance, durability and that will withstand the elements of weather and time. Franks unique artistic technique of faux painting the simulated masonry is what brings it to life, using a blend of colors only he can create for a realistic look. Any home or building exterior can be updated in a fraction of the time and cost of real masonry.

Frank is currently working on other varied sculptures in plaster, clay and bronze. An eight foot logo of a lion will be created without a mold in cement, rebar and wire mesh has been commissioned and will be unveiled soon on Florida's west coast for all to enjoy and featured in the Tampa Tribune.
